Jon Neill specializes in conceptual design, illustrations, specialty prop, creature and costume creation for TV & Film, the Toy Industry, and museum exhibits.
​
Having started his career at an early age, freelancing for Hallmark Cards, Jon relocated to Los Angeles to work for legendary Special Effects artist Stan Winston at Stan Winston Studios. There he learned from some of the best Hollywood sculptors and illustrators. Over the years he has created specialty hero props for many blockbuster movies and dozens of television shows like Lost World, Looper, Hunger Games, The Office, The Bridge, Modern Family, Life in Pieces and 911.

TV and Film wasn't the only industry Jon was busy with. A decade ago, he was responsible for sculpting hundred's of action figure heads and licensed properties for a handful of Toy companies such as Jakks Pacific, Hasbro and DC Entertainment. This lead into working with PMG, an in Theatre Marketing company where he utilized his movie art savyness to create several products for the upcoming release of feature films .
For a few years, he was the official sculptor for the Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles County. He worked to create a few traveling exhibits and worked on early concept ideas for what today's Museum looks like.

Most notably however and to his surprise, he is a world renowned professional pumpkin carver, seen on Food Network's Halloween Wars and the winning team of season 4, Snickers Halloween Commercial, YouTube, The Hallmark channel & Nickelodeon, known as the "Pumpkin Guru"!

His pumpkin creations have been seen by millions globally and he tours nationally during the fall, carving giant pumpkins for festivals and VIP Hollywood events.
